Another excellent experience. My old car was stalling out. They got me in that very day and by noon the next day the issue was diagnosed and fixed. A fair price for their time and materials. The best part was the quick turn around. Thank you DJ

My smart car is a real brat sometimes and for mysterious reasons will occasionally refuse to start. These folks are more than willing to help me chase down the problem and while we think we solved it, if it comes up again I know that I can get roadside assistance and also have it looked at by these patient and competent people. Owning a smart car has been a total nightmare because of the lack of support from the maker, so I am extra-glad I found DJ Foreign Auto because without them I would have to take my car from Minneapolis to Rochester, just to get it serviced, which is ridiculous. DJ Foreign Auto makes my life so much easier, and makes owning a smart car so much less painful.

I would give them more than 5 stars if that was a thing. They have helped me, repeatedly and patiently, to deal with my temperamental smart car. They got it running after I was convinced it was gone forever. They are competent, responsive, kind, and even made a recommendation to another shop to get our Subaru fixed, which helped us out a ton. If my jerk of a car decides to die on me again, I can always use the roadside assistance I got with my most recent repairs, and have my smarty brought back to DJ for more work. It's a huge peace of mind to know that I don't have to haul my smart car to the dealer in Rochester MN -- having a local mechanic makes all the difference. I love these guys.

Bought a 97 318ti on a whim while in Minneapolis. I saw this shop had great reviews so brought it in to be looked over before driving it back to the east coast. Not only were they able to get me in within 2 days but provided a comprehensive report on the diagnosis via email. The communication was faster and more professional than almost any shop I’ve worked with. If I lived in the area, this would be the only shop I went to.
